The official follow-up to the monolithic “Mundian Te Bach Ke,” this song always had a ridiculous amount to live up to. So, like any second child cursed with a brilliant older sibling, “Jogi” rebels, digs its heels in and does the opposite. And it works. A joyful celebration with an infectious bassline, both male and female vocals plus a relentless energy, it’s more of a traditional song in many ways, and the perfect summer anthem. Nothing will ever “beat” MTBK, but that doesn’t mean this hasn’t become a firm favourite that many actually prefer.
